re upload speed - I am based in the UK as you are so speed shouldn't be that slow! re not being able to upload folders - I had raised a ticket but no response received :( finally the 'running out of space issue' - I need to correct myself, the problem was on my side, ie my PC ran out of space encrypting the upload, however I don't understand why the encryption process takes so much space, seem to take more than twice the filesize of the upload! update (6 August) - the problem with folder upload persisted I did reach out to support around 1 month ago, I was told someone would get back to me but no response, and now Icedrive have just closed the support ticket without responding/addressing the issues.Icedrive is a cloud storage service offering 10GB free storage. EDIT - after receiving feedback from Icedrive: thank you for all the updates/improvements you're doing. while I got an acknowledgement I have not had an actual response yet. I had raised this issue with customer support 1 week ago, including query if I could get a refund. NordLocker offers their own secure cloud storage for lockers.

my upload speed is around 9-10 MB/sec, so it’s not my internet connection! I was puzzled to find that the desktop app won’t allow folders to be uploaded, so I had to create a zip file (I accept quit big, > 20GB) to upload, it started ok but then I was told that my account had run out of space when it still had more than twice that amount of space free and their website under FAQ states that there is no limit to filesize that can be uploaded (btw that is definitely a plus, some Cloud companies give quite significant restrictions to filesize upload) however at that time I got that error message it seemed that their website was inaccessible, perhaps due to maintenance? but if they do maintenance they should warn us before if it interferes with uploading files, esp big ones where you then have to start from scratch again. This means that your files can remain safely encrypted even when they are on your computer. If you – like me – have to upload say 20GB of data it seems to be taking nearly 24 hours for this (encryption plus upload) and. Bästa Black Friday-erbjudanden om molnlagring 2022. obviously the encryption is done on my machine, so far so good, but it is quite slow (probably due to my PC being bit old) however uploading speeds are veeeeeery slow, I was lucky if I got 1MB/sec, prob more 0.5 MB/sec. I like it that they have a linux desktop client (not many cloud companies have that!) I needed to backup an external Hard disk with 100+GB data but this is/was hard work and still not completed. I can see that they are really developing their product, lots of thought has gone into it. I signed up to their lifetime 150GB plan (I think very good value). Hello, am glad that most people’s experience with icedrive is good.
Not so sure I can recommend but maybe 'early days' Litecomes with 150 GB of storage and 250 GB of bandwidth per month.
